The Bluegrass Regional Mental Health "Mental Retardation Board, Inc. is one of the largest Community Mental Health Centers in the Nation. We have been providing mental health, mental retardation and substance abuse services in the seventeen county Bluegrass Area for over 40 years. Today, our System of Care is comprised of four major corporate entities: Our Community Mental Health Center; Bluegrass Psychiatric Services, which operates Eastern State Hospital; Bluegrass Oakwood; and Bluegrass New Directions which provides administrative support, our electronic health record and specialized software to behavioral healthcare companies.



Mission Statement: The mission of New Vista is to assist individuals and families in the enhancement of their emotional, mental and physical well-being by providing behavioral health, substance use and intellectual and developmental disability services. We serve those who have limited options for meeting their behavioral health needs.
