Holistic care for women, men and adolescents
Family Recovery Housing
Womens Extended Care Programs Through these specialized, holistic programs, more than 2,100 women have reclaimed their lives from the chaos of addiction and mental illness.
Women live in communal home-like settings with their children as they build the skills and confidence to be more self-sufficient, find jobs, continue their education and/or secure housing. Choose from The Aster Program, our original Womens Program which began in 1953 and is located on our suburban campus and The AYA Program uniquely designed for women of color.
Inpatient Care for men
Men begin to heal in a highly protected environment. They learn the facts about addiction disorders and tools to get and stay sober. Men immerse themselves in group and individual counseling, therapeutic recreation, medical and nutritional interventions, Alcoholics Anonymous and other self-help groups. If ready, men can invite their families to learn more about their disease, and, if possible, to actively support their recovery.
