McCall House is a 14-bed intermediate residential program whose mission is to help adult men and women in early recovery successfully reintegrate into the community. The focus of treatment is not only relapse prevention, but includes educational, vocational and job placement assistance.
This comprehensive recovery program helps residents develop greater self-confidence in their ability to succeed in life and creates more hope for their futures.
To help residents develop more productive lives, McCall House staff are developing lasting connections with a number of employers in the Torrington area in order to assist residents locate and maintain better paying jobs.
Residents are encouraged to continue their involvement with recovery support systems in the community after they leave McCall house.
Approximately 80 men and women are served at McCall House each year with the average length of stay between 10 and 12 weeks. Our statistics indicate that a large majority of our alumni have significantly improved their lives, while at McCall House and after discharge.
