The Way Back Inn and Grateful House serves adult men and women who are suffering from alcohol, drug, and gambling dependence. Our overall goal is to help clients achieve continuous sobriety. Everyone is welcome.


Admission to the Way Back Inn or the Grateful House happens within 24 hours of the initial assessment.
Contact your insurance carrier to determine your benefits.
Depending on the coverage, a payment may be required at admission.
Male and female clients, 19 years or older


Payments can be made with cash, check, or credit card. A payment program is available upon request. A credit card will be put on file at the time of admission. Our staff will assist with the filing of insurance claims.

The Way Back Inn and Grateful House's fees are based on the client's need. No one will be turned away for financial reasons. All fees are based on the Illinois Department of Human Services - Division of Drug and Alcohol Abuse guidelines.
